My name is Roger Barton, coach for a U8 boys team.  We were supposed to
play Andy Quandt's team this weekend, but his team couldn't make it do
to wrestling so that game is postponed and so my team will not be at the
fields either to turn in our money.  I, personally will be out of town

We will be collecting the money from our Spring fundraiser this  
Saturday, March 15th and we could really use your help.

First, if you are a coach, please use the attached form to record the  
fundraiser numbers for your team. Write down each player's name, how  
much money they are returning and how many candy bars they are  
returning. If the player sold an entire box of candy, s/he will  
receive a $5 discount on their fall registration. Please mark the  
appropriate box if this is the case. We encourage you to assign this  
job to your team parent (or another parent). Gather all of the money  
and candy bars and complete the form before turning it in at the  
table. This will hopefully keep the lines down at the table so no one  
has to wait in line to turn in their money. Whoever you have assigned  
should sign their name on the bottom of the form. This will serve as  
verification that the information on the form has been checked for  
accuracy. Again, this will really help us to speed up the process at  
the table. Your help is MUCH appreciated!

Some players have already returned their money and we have recorded  
this information. You do not need to record their infomation again. If  
you have questions, just stop by the table and ask.

Second, we also need helpers at the table on Saturday. We want to make  
this process as quick and easy as possible so if lots of people can  
help out for short periods of time, it will take the pressure off of  
the few who are already signed up to help. If you can help before or  
after your child's game, please call the hotline or send an email to  
cvpa at ayso253.org to volunteer for a shift. Any help you can offer will  
be much appreciated. If you have not already completed a volunteer  
form, we will have them available on Saturday.

Thank you to each of you for supporting our region through the  
fundraiser. We know your lives are hectic and this was one more thing  
to add to your busy schedule. Please consider helping out on Saturday  
in whatever way you can - we really need you!

Feel free to forward this information to other AYSO 253 soccer  
families who are not currently on the mailing list. Please encourage  
others to sign up for the mailing list as it is one way we are working  
to improve communication in our region.
